This coming May, our adventure on the Iberian Pennisula begins as we make a remarkable journey to visit the gardens of Spain and Portugal. From the exotic Alhambra in Granada to the romantic Pena Palace in Sintra in the hills above Lisbon, we see more than a dozen beautiful gardens along with scores of scenic and historic places.
For 15 days, picturesque windmills, royal palaces, and villages of white washed houses are our destinations, as we eat tapas where it was invented and jump into the Iberian culture with both feet.
Our adventure begins and ends in Philadelphia as we fly non-stop to Madrid and return from Lisbon at the conclusion of our tour. Along the way we visit the cities of Segovia, Aranjuez, Toledo, Granada, Seville and Cordoba. All of our hotels have city-center locations for easy exploring on your own.
